  Larry Richmond has been pastor of Anchor Baptist Church since its inception on April 4, 1982. Pastor Richmond and his wife Evalynn have three married children and three grandchildren. Their daughter Stacia married Will Hopkins June 10, 2000 and have two children Lydia and Samuel and live in New London, CT. Their son Nathan married Ginny July 22, 2000 and have one daughter Ellie and live in Greenville, SC. Their son Daniel married Alischa May 31, 2008 and live in Westfield, Mass.
Pastor Richmond accepted Jesus Christ as Savior in 1975 while serving his country in the U.S. Air Force at McConnell A.F.B. in Wichita, Kansas. It was there that he met his wife Evalynn and began serving the Lord. The Richmond's moved to Chattanooga, Tennessee in 1976 where Larry attended seminary at Tennessee Temple University. The Richmond's moved to Connecticut in 1981 and Anchor Baptist Church held its first service April 4, 1982 at the Gales Ferry Community Center. |
